Tax Day 09

I was thinking last night about the whole process, and realized consciously that -- as a Federal employee -- there's no way to avoid paying taxes. They're taken out of every paycheck without fail. In fact, every year we show the IRS how much we deserve to have refunded.

It really should be that simple for everyone. That's not a flat tax, that's a simpler approach to a complex subject.

And now, I shall demonstrate the proper usage of a tea bag: hot water <--- dunk until dark enough; add milk. Drink.

My partner had a year like that, in between the last job and the current one (in fact, she qualified for the full bonus that the Shrub administration sent out); now she's back up to overpaying like me.
