I've been ambushed by loving family with a fresh brownie cake and a singing candle! I could not resist the chocolate and succumbed to a piece with whipped cream.

Now they are off on their weekend retreat and I..have the house to myself, BWAAAHAHAHHAHHAAAAA!

Sometimes I do. Most of the time I just turn the light off using the switch. With our renovation, some of the light switches are in different places, so even a year later we're still trying the wrong ones first.

Well..it was musical, I can tell that. I suppose it sang Happy Birthday; I stopped it before it could wax anything more than the cake. The last thing I need is an emo candle on my cake.

Oh, now, c'mon...if it was an emo candle, 1) it'd be black, 2) half the wax would be combed over one side of the wick, 3) it would be playing Evansecence, and 4) it would have cut the cake itself. :P
