Mid-Week Review
Jan. 7th, 2009 10:04 pmIs is Wednesday night already?
The hamster is doing well, and is so delighted to consume such tasty medicine that she attempts to stuff the syringe into her cheek pouches.
The Honey texted me today during her meeting to let me know that much of her music had oddly disappeared from her iPod. It turned out that she had last synched it as "most recently added" only, and I am now stuck watching it resynch more than 700 songs while she has gone to bed. :-P
One of Sonny's teachers emailed to let us know that he's been having a great week for her. It's always nice to hear these things.
Today was incredibly busy, and unexpectedly so (my job is full of variety and diversity; I can never expect what will happen); I ended up on my feet for most of the day, running from one building to another. When I was actually at my desk, I was busy reviewing two separate proposals for submission to a committee, as well as trying to analyze some data that need massaging, and answer my phone, and check patients, and sign forms. I was so happy when the day finally ended. Only, not. After dinner, I zoomed 15 miles up the road to return a piece of equipment that I've been borrowing; the owner needed it for an upcoming physical inventory of equipment, after which I may re-borrow it.
Tomorrow is also busy, with an off-campus visit to examine the fundus of some animals for a proposal, followed by a rapid return to campus for what looks like an important meeting, followed by a training seminar and then I can rest for a long weekend, as I will have Friday off.
Unless, of course, I choose to come in on Friday for someone presenting some very interesting data that we collected for her. Decisions, decisions.
Ah, the re-synch is complete. Time for bed.
