Made a cream cheese and sour cream pie, with blueberry topping. Yumster! Voted delicious by 5 out of 5 people.

Cream Cheese Pie
Crust (I usually just buy a graham cracker or chocolate ready-made pie crust):
¼ cup melted butter
1 ½ cup graham cracker crumbs
2 Tbs sugar
Bake 5 minutes at 400 degrees F.
Filling:
12 ounces cream cheese (1 and ½ boxes)
2 eggs
¾ cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla
½ tsp lemon juice
Combine and beat until frothy. Pour into crust and bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes.
Topping:
1 cup sour cream
3 ½ Tbs sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Remove pie from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Then pour topping over pie and bake for another 10+ minutes (I bake it longer, until I see a small crack appear on top. Sometimes takes 25-30 minutes).
Refrigerate. Top with your favorite fruit.
And on the home front, we have a new deck in the back..er, side yard. Even though it feels like the back yard, it's technically a side yard, which is why we get away with the closeness of the neighbors. So, the new deck went up yesterday; it was put up by a crew of professionals who took 12 hours to do it. The dog is still unsure of this new stairs thing in his way; coming in involves too much walking up steps, and too many steps at that. So he barks like a baby. A baby dog, to be sure.
Will post pics of new lovely deck when we get them.
Off to hide Eostre/Easter eggs for the young man.
