Pork carnitas tacos were tasty, though.
Walked around for a bit, didn't see any snakes or roadrunners.

Date: 2015-10-29 09:07 pm (UTC)Roadrunners are mostly seen running across highways, so you prolly won't see them in the metro area, and I've never seen a snake in all the time I was there. You may see a scorpion, but since I've seen a total of about 3 in the 25 years of desert life, I wouldn't count on it.
But, yeah, the Mexican food there is of a much higher quality than just about anywhere else. One of the perks of being a local is knowing which places to avoid, and which out-of-the-way places have the absolute best grub.
