Five Things Make, er..
Oct. 20th, 2010 11:33 pm1. Kittens are aggressively climbing me now, and leaving scratch marks on my hands as well as my ankles. They are still extremely cute. Deathly cute.
2. Sonny chose to pick today for his little adventure in the non-socialized medicine world. The school nurse called to tell me that he might have dislocated his shoulder, so I ran over, took him to the pediatrician, got referred to the orthopod for rads and any necessary repairs, sat in the ortho office for at least two hours, only to be given the good news that nothing was out of place. By that time, his extremely sensitive shoulder had become only moderately sore. We were issued a sling for sleeping in, and sent off to home. He's excused from PE (his best class!) for a week, and drowned his sorrows in leftover Chinese, a movie, and ice cream.
3. On the couch tonight, while he watched his movie, I read Cryoburn. All I can say is "DAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaamn!"
4. Did I mention the cute kittens? Soooooo cute!
5. My tea is about ready.
