If you have any concerns at all about Alito's nomination, go to the PFAW site and enter your information -- they'll send faxes to the borderline Senators regarding the fight against Alito.
It's crucial for our voices to be heard now. While Alito may be a nice guy, and genuinely smart/hardworking, etc., he's done too much against Roe v Wade to be allowed onto the Supreme Court. While no woman ever wants to have an abortion, the simple and basic fact remains that it must remain legal -- women must keep the right to choose. Roe v Wade may not be perfect, but no law is perfect. It remains our single best protection of the right of a woman to choose.
